A trip down memory lane
The transformed hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet. I could feel the new management's efforts shining through. It was a safe haven amidst my busy schedule.
However, a few maintenance issues peeked through the polished exterior. The occasional fire alarm and rusted bathroom fittings made it hard to fully relax.

Convenient Stay with Clean Room
I stayed in a One-Bedroom Queen Suite and found it clean and cozy, which was a pleasant surprise after a long day out. The kitchenette was handy for making quick meals, and the outdoor swimming pool was a nice touch to unwind after exploring Houston. However, the area felt a bit sketchy, which made me a little uneasy during my stay.

The hotel had a great location for our family trip. We enjoyed having a kitchenette, which made it easier to accommodate our meals with all five of my adult kids. Plus, easy access to nearby parks was a bonus for our outdoor adventures.
My wife says that the management could improve the maintenance.

The room I stayed in had a very comfortable bed which was a relief after a long day of exploring the nearby attractions. However, I was disappointed with the kitchen amenities. the stove was just a hotplate, and there was limited cooking equipment available. The hotel atmosphere felt a bit sketchy with individuals loitering in the lobby, and the overall cleanliness could use a lot of improvement. The lack of adequate supplies and maintenance issues definitely diminished my experience.

We had a cozy stay with a clean one-bedroom queen suite and a handy kitchenette for snacks. It had more space than my flat, which was a delightful surprise. Perfect for lounging around or wrangling grandchildren!
Oh darling, the microwave was broken and I couldn’t pop my popcorn! Such a tragedy at any hour!

The kindness of the front desk attendant stood out during my stay, adding a warm touch to the experience. However, the noise levels were unbearable throughout the night, making sleep quite difficult. The limited kitchen amenities also left much to be desired, giving little room for any cooking. I did enjoy the marinated fish served in the dining area, which was a positive highlight amidst the inconvenience.

Had a fantastic trip with friends! The staff was super helpful, making our stay comfortable. We spent the day at the Houston Zoo and strolled through Memorial Park, enjoyed a great twilight tour, and loved the convenience of the kitchenette in our room for quick meals. Definitely coming back!
A group in the lobby was quite loud, making it hard to enjoy the calm of the hotel. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but something to think about if you're looking for a totally peaceful environment.
